Remote Learning - 2nd November 2026

Good morning Year 4 and I hope you have all had a lovely half term!

Here are a selection of tasks for you work through at home today.

  1. You can complete your written homework for this week which is a set of arithemtic questions and can be found on the picture attached below. If you write the answers any jottings on paper, these can be stuck into your maths homework books when back at school.
  2. This week's TT Rockstars games have been set so you can complete them in school hours. There are 9 games of garage currently set to complete. HINT : Remeber to check the heat map for the purple boxes before each game.

  3. Games are set on Spelling Shed for this week's spelling words. I have attached a list of this week's spellings below too. You may also use rainbow spellings, pyrmaid words or any other spelling task of your choice to practise these further.
  4. This half term we will be looking at 'A River' by Marc Martin during our literacy lessons. Using the front cover, what predictions can you make about the text? Where might the text be set? Are there any clues we can find to identify any main characters? What may happen in the book? A picture of the front cover is attached below. I look forward to hear your predictions later in the week!
