Rotary Club 50:50 Swimathon,

The Year 5 children and Year 6 children have the opportunity to take part in the Rotary Club 50:50 Swimathon, along with Dean Valley Staff members, to raise money for Mr Hasler and his family.  

This is a sponsored event where half of the monies that you collect will be donated to The Rotary Club and half will be donated to #TeamHaslerMND. I have attached a sponsorship form for you to use and keep record of the people that are sponsoring you. Please start to gather sponsorship from family, friends and neighbours as soon as possible.

The Swimathon will take place on Sunday 16th March 2025 at Macclesfield Leisure Centre.  The Dean Valley swim will start at 1.50pm.  We ask that you arrive at the Leisure Centre no later than 1.30pm, so that we can be sorted and ready to dive in at 1.50pm.  The children will be in a team of 6, consisting of children and adults.  Each person will take it in turns to swim a length at a time.  Each team will swim in relay for 45 minutes. Each team member can swim the stroke/s they are most comfortable with.  Goggles and swim caps can be worn.  The aim is for each team to swim as many lengths as they can.  

Even if you are not swimming in this event we appreciate support from all of our DV family, so you are more than welcome to spectate in the viewing gallery. The number of entrants are restricted so I will be taking responses on a first come first served basis.
